About the event
Free Thanksgiving Food Distribution in Waxahachie
C.A.R.E. Services is hosting a free drive-through Thanksgiving food distribution for families in need across Ellis County. On November 23rd and 24th, 2026, from 9:00am to 12 noon, Ellis County residents can come to our Waxahachie location at 1208 Ferris Avenue and receive free holiday groceries. That includes a turkey or ham, Thanksgiving trimmings and more, while supplies last.
At C.A.R.E. Services, neighbors helping neighbors is what we do all year. The holidays can stretch a family budget, and no one in Ellis County should have to go without a Thanksgiving meal. This holiday food giveaway helps local families put a full meal on the table this season.
